Hand-poured in Nablus, Sondos's candles bring together warmth, craft, and everyday beauty. Beyond her own creations, she trains women across the West Bank in candle-making, sharing the skills to build a livelihood with dignity.

Hand-poured in Nablus.

Sondos Shureim works in Nablus, in the occupied West Bank. She pours every candle here by hand, in small batches, so no two come out identical.

Some are poured into a hand-carved wooden frame cut to the map of Palestine. Others go into ceramic bowls — including a Hebron-made bowl painted by hand with the keffiyeh fishnet pattern. When the candle burns down, the bowl stays: a dish for olives, salt, or keys by the door.

Rajaeen buys every candle here directly from her studio.
