The flag, twice.

Once in the weave — red, green and black run through the fishnet and the olive leaf instead of the usual black on white. Once again as an embroidered panel at the edge, the flag stitched solid in its own colors against the cloth.

The keffiyeh became a symbol because people wore it, not because anyone designed it to be one. Farmers wore it for the sun. Then it meant something, then governments started banning it, and now it means something in a hundred countries where nobody farms. This version skips the ambiguity entirely.

It reads across a street. Some days that's what you want.

Wear it as a headscarf, tied at the neck, or over the shoulders.

How it's made

Made in Jordan, on looms that have been turning out this cloth for generations. Flag-color weave, with the flag panel embroidered after weaving.

• 60% cotton / 40% high-quality synthetic
• All-season weight — sun protection in summer, warmth in winter

Handwoven notes

• Finished by hand. Loose threads happen — trim them carefully. Trims vary.
• Allow about an inch of variation in dimension. Colours may read slightly differently depending on your screen.
