FAQ

Where are your keffiyehs made? Are your keffiyehs made in Palestine?

Most of our keffiyehs are made in Palestine, specifically in Hebron and Nablus. We also source keffiyehs from Syria. The origin of each keffiyeh is clearly mentioned in the product title and description.

Why are so many of your keffiyehs out of stock? When will you restock?

Due to the unique challenges of sourcing products from Palestine, restocking dates can be unpredictable. We strive to replenish our stock as quickly as possible, but current circumstances often cause delays. You can sign up for restock notifications on the product page to receive an email alert as soon as the item becomes available.

Is this a Palestinian-owned business?

Rajaeen is a California-based company founded by Kareem Qaraman, a Palestinian-American whose father was forcibly displaced from Haifa, Palestine, in 1948 at the age of 8. Kareem immigrated to the USA in 2019 and started Rajaeen in 2020 to support Palestinians and refugees in the Middle East.

How does Rajaeen support Palestinians and refugees?

Rajaeen empowers Palestinians and refugees by:

  • Providing them with opportunities to earn a sustainable income with dignity.

We purchase the Keffiehs from Palestinian manufacturers like Hirbawi through a local Palestinian agent. The factory and the agent earn income from these sales, supporting Palestinian workers and businesses.

  • Supporting entrepreneurial spirit within their communities.

We encourage Palestinian artists and makers to keep producing and to build their communities in Gaza and the West Bank. We sell their designs and products to our customers, which encourages them to create more art.

  • Employing Palestinians directly and donating to support causes in the region.

Rajaeen employs people in Palestine, and profits help us expand our team and impact.

Why support Palestinians through Rajaeen instead of donating directly to charity?

We encourage direct donations to official charities and organizations as the situation requires all possible support. Rajaeen complements this effort by helping Palestinians and refugees earn a livelihood with dignity, which has a long-term, sustainable impact.
