Olive Wood Small Bowl — Hand-Carved in Bethlehem

In Bethlehem, the Giacaman family has been carving olive wood since 1925. This small bowl is one of theirs — turned from a single block, the walls thinned by hand until the grain runs clean around the rim.

Olive wood never repeats itself. The swirling grain, the honey-and-amber shift across the surface, the small differences from one bowl to the next — that is the tree's own record, not a flaw.

A wooden serving bowl for olives, nuts, salt or dipping oil. A catch-all dish for keys and rings by the door. Deep enough to hold, small enough to keep on the counter.

The olive tree is the oldest argument for staying. This carries that argument into your home.

Three generations later, the Giacaman family still works in Bethlehem—just steps away from the Church of the Nativity and the Milk Grotto Church—carrying forward the sacred tradition of olive wood carving.
