Keffiyeh, Shemagh, Kufiya Scarf — Palestine Flag Colors

Red, green, white, black, in the traditional weave.

Most keffiyehs are black and white because that's what a working scarf looked like — cheap dye, hard wear, sun. This one takes the same pattern and puts the flag's colors through it. The motifs don't change: the fishnet, the olive leaf, the lines that have marked Palestinians for a century. Only the palette does.

It reads from further away than black and white does. Some days that's what you want.

Wear it as a headscarf, tied at the neck, or over the shoulders.

How it's made

Made in Jordan, on looms that have been turning out this cloth for generations.

• 60% cotton / 40% high-quality synthetic
• All-season weight — sun protection in summer, warmth in winter

Handwoven notes

• Finished by hand. Loose threads happen — trim them carefully. Trims vary.
• Allow about an inch of variation in dimension. Colors may read slightly differently depending on your screen.
