What is Keffiyeh?

The Keffiyeh is more than just a scarf; it's a symbol of justice and an icon of the Palestinian fight for freedom from oppression, persecution, and Zionist colonialism. It is also known as Kufiya, Keffiyeh, Shemagh, or Hatta. The Keffiyeh dates back to the 1930s when Palestinian revolutionaries used it to resist the British mandate. However, Palestinian peasants used it before to protect themselves from the sun's heat, dust, and cold. 

The Hebron factory in Palestine is the only place where the original Palestinian Kufiya is still being manufactured.

Keffiyeh Colors
